I was born and raised in Calgary, AB, with my two older siblings and of course – my many pets (which pretty much consisted of any stray or rescue I was allowed to bring home.) Growing up, being surrounded by nature and wildlife sparked my love of animals. Since a very young age, I knew my dream job would involve spending time with, and helping, every animal that I could.
I began working at Acadia Drive Animal Clinic in the fall of 2018. This position has become the steppingstone in turning my dreams into reality. Gaining firsthand experience working with animals, and alongside so many talented co-workers has fueled my desire to learn as much as possible. In the new year, I will be attending Old’s College to study Animal Health Technology. Once completing the program, I plan to continue working in the veterinary field.
My favourite part about working at the clinic (besides my fun co-workers) is getting to meet all the owners and pets and seeing the love they share.
A fun fact about me: I have played competitive ringette for 13 years, and still continue to play!
