Miranda Ladouceur was born and raised in Pincher Creek, Alberta, moved to Calgary 12 years ago, and has been here ever since. She has worked in the veterinary industry for eight years, with six of those being spent at Acadia Drive Animal Clinic.
Miranda is a veterinary and technician assistant – she is the clinic rock and keeps everything behind the scenes running smoothly. Miranda is planning on attending the Animal Health Technician program to become an AHT, hopefully here at Acadia.
Miranda has two Siamese cats named Keiko and Tika. Away from work, you can find Miranda snowboarding, camping, travelling and hiking. She also enjoys going to movies and concerts.
She recently has been to both Costa Rica and Puerto Rico. In Costa Rica, she went to wildlife reserves and learned about the conservation of Howler monkeys, and the other wildlife of the Caribbean. Miranda hopes to one day run a non-for-profit spay/neuter and general health organization that works to help animals in need. She would like to base her organization out of the Caribbean, and hopes to help animals anywhere there is a need.
