Dr. Kaitlyn Brown

Kaitlyn grew up on a farm in rural Saskatchewan and dreamed of becoming a veterinarian as a young girl. Her farm was home to many types of animals, but she was always drawn to cats and dogs. She graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon in 2019 and has spent her entire career in the Calgary area.  Kaitlyn’s special interests in veterinary medicine are dentistry and general surgery as well as fear free examinations. Kaitlyn is Fear Free certified and works hard to ensure that all appointments are as comfortable for your pet, as well as yourself.  

Outside of work, you can mainly find Kaitlyn spending time with her toddler son. They love being outdoors and exploring the mountains as much as possible. She also has a cat, named Lanie, who unfortunately was demoted to the second favourite child after her son was born. Kaitlyn is excited to be joining the fun and welcoming team at Acadia Drive Animal Clinic.
